Winter Planting

I had removed all the plants except the lavender. I regretted moving the other plant with the pink flowers. So instead of planting perennials, I'm going for annuals, that is, annuals that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Perennials tend to get too big for my small space. Plants of the Southwest package with High Desert Mix.  The tomato plants produce some but they had more leaves this year. Maybe next year I will plant them in pots. My cactus plants are growing well. I can't wait until the pink flowers bloom. I had Matthew removed the Japapnese Maple tree. My first ambition move to grow vegetables in containers. I have two different lettuces plus two strawberry plants.
