Front Yard Weeding

Spend all morning putting out the weeds. Took about 3 hours with lots of breaks in-between.

Before and after photos...with my helper, Kava.

Backyard

Starting a gardening in the midst of the COVID19 order to stay-in-home.

Purchased vegetables and flowers from Redwood Barn Nursery. Don Shor recommended using a fruit mixture soil for containing gardening. I purchased the fabric containers to plant vegetables from Amazon. They should be arriving next week.

Also purchased some flowers to add a bit more color in my yard.

Chinese Chives

Australian Violet

Alyssum - planted in the large barrel containers

Brachyscome "Fresco Candy"

Wooden barrel filled with alyssum, unknown bushy plant and fresco candy orange flowers

Cuphea "Firecracker" plant with alyssums and Australian violet.
Tomato "Early Beef"

Green Bell Pepper

Garlic Chives

Bromeliad

Perennial plant, probably drought tolerant
